TV ADAPTATION OF THE BOOK SERIES
BY A.K. DUBOFF
ONE HOUR SCI-FI DRAMA
When a teenaged girl from Earth begins training as an elite officer in the galactic military, her instant connection to a gifted young man places her at the center of a secret interdimensional war.
INTRODUCTION

Cadicle is a sprawling sci-fi epic.
Saera, a teenaged girl from Earth suddenly finds herself in the middle of a secret galactic war when she meets Wil, a brilliant young man with uniquely powerful telekinetic abilities. Despite being from completely different worlds, they form a deep connection.
Together, they must unite and inspire a new group of students to face the oncoming apocalypse before time runs out...
But a dark and sinister agenda has taken shape. Politics, greed, lust, deception, and corruption threatens not only the known universe but the very souls of our heroes.
Who can they trust? And can they become the legends they were born to be?
A secret war for the universe has been raging for more than 300 years.
Humans are descendants of an ancient and powerful species known as Tarans, great colonizers of the galaxy and eternal enemy of the mysterious Bakzen. Most of humanity lives in blissful ignorance—only a select few know the true stakes at risk and just how small a role humanity actually plays in the greater scheme of the universe.
STORY
The Enemy has attacked.
A peaceful farming planet located in the Outer Realms of the Taran Empire has been obliterated by the bloodthirsty Bakzen. It is unknown how the enemy was able to breach the RIFT—a subdimensional space where the Bakzen are trapped—or how they managed to launch an assault right from under the nose of the Tararian Selective
Service. All anyone knows is that a full blown war for the universe is now less than three years away...
WIL SIETINEN, 17, a brilliant young man with extraordinarily powerful telekinetic abilities works tirelessly on a prototype engine that may help turn the tides of the upcoming war. Although he is emotionally, physically, and spiritually exhausted, he presses on, shouldering the weight of responsibility because that is what he was born to do. He is the CADICLE, the prophesied savior of the universe. A being of untold power. A living weapon. A kid who is starting to crack under the pressure after he learns TWO BILLION people have died because he is working too slowly.
Meanwhile, SAERA ALEXANDER, a teenaged girl with a haunted past, is enrolled in the TSS Academy, where she will learn to harness her latent telekinetic powers—if they ever manifest. Headstrong and determined, she resolves to become a Commander in the TSS but faces one overwhelming obstacle: she is from Earth, the LOST COLONY of the Taran Empire, a world of “dangerous savages.” She must prove to her SQUAD that she belongs, but most importantly she must prove it to herself.
Wil and Saera share an instant connection and soon form a deep bond. They are somehow stronger together, finding strength and courage in the face of staggering odds.
But this isn’t just a show about teens in space. Shadowy cabals and syndicates have seized the opportunity to grow their power and influence. Ancient dynasties move their political pawns to further their machinations. Traitors and spies have embedded themselves deep within the TSS, waiting for their moment to strike. Both Wil and Saera soon find themselves to be valuable commodities in this dangerous universe.
Cadicle is a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of a science fiction epic. It’s a story about war and space battles and galactic intrigue but it’s also the story of a group of wildly different teens that must overcome their own insecurities in order to grow into the leaders and heroes they were destined to be. But there will come a point where our heroes must ask...
Is this destiny or manipulation?
Cadicle is based on the internationally bestselling book series by Nebula-nominated and USA Today bestselling author A.K. DuBoff, beginning with Volume Three (Bonds of Resolve) in the seven-volume series.
