STORY

The Enemy has attacked.

SAERA ALEXANDER, 17, a teenaged girl with a haunted past from modern Earth. To escape her past of physical and emotional abuse, Saera jumps at the chance to join the TSS Academy and begin training in telekinesis. Saera is extremely gifted with both math and finding diplomatic solutions to problems. She finds a sense of kinship with TSS star student Wil as a fellow tortured soul, and they help each other tackle the challenges ahead.

Meanwhile, WIL SIETINEN, 17, is the heir to the powerful Sietinen Dynasty and possesses untold telekinetic potential. He is believed to be the promised Cadicle, a person with limitless power destined to save the universe. He’s afraid of what he can do with those abilities and has isolated himself. Wil is very conflicted about his role as a future leader in the galactic war, and he’s cracking under the enormous pressure.

Following a chance meeting, Wil and Saera share an instant connection and soon form a deep bond. They are somehow stronger together, finding fortitude and courage in the face of staggering odds.

But the Bakzen aren't their only threat. Shadowy syndicates have seized the opportunity to grow their power and influence. Ancient dynasties move their political pawns to further their machinations. Traitors and spies have embedded themselves deep within the TSS, waiting for their moment to strike. Both Wil and Saera soon find themselves to be valuable commodities in this dangerous universe.

Cadicle is a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of galactic war. More than space battles and political intrigue, it is a family drama where generations of characters must overcome their insecurities and traumatic pasts in order to grow into the leaders and heroes they were destined to be.

As centuries of lies and corruption are exposed, eventually our heroes face a dark truth...

Is this destiny or manipulation?

Cadicle is based on the internationally bestselling book series by USA Today bestselling and Nebula-nominated author A.K. DuBoff, beginning with Volume Three (Bonds of Resolve) in the seven-volume series.
